MARCH AGAINST DOMESTIC VIOLENCE Thursday, Oct. 1, 2015 12:15 pm to 1:00 pm On the Square at Trade and Tryon Streets. The Domestic Violence Advocacy Council is inviting the public to march in response to a domestic violence-related homicide which took place in Charlotte on September 19, 2015. Judith Causey, age 37, was killed by her ex-boyfriend. Her current partner was near-fatally wounded. The perpetrator, Kevin Conner, age 50, took his own life. This march is intended to broaden the public’s awareness that help is available, including programs and services offering safety planning. Free parking is available at the Hal Marshall County Services Center, 700 N.
